How to reach Royal Olympic Hotel Athens from Athens International Airport

By Metro (option 1)

Royal Olympic Hotel is accessible via Metro Line 3 “Aghia Marina - Athens International Airport”. You can alternatively use the suburban railway from the airport, and change to metro line 3 at “Plakentias” station (in the direction of “Aghia Marina”).

Change lines at Syntagma Station. Use Metro Line 2 “Anthoupoli - Elliniko” in the direction of “Elliniko”. Get off at the first station (“Akropoli”). From there Royal Olympic Hotel is 200 meters away, walking along Ath. Diakou Street.

The approximate time from the Athens International Airport to the Hotel is 40 minutes. Tickets are available in all Metro stations and cost 8 euros for a single ride from/to the Airport.

By Bus (option 2)

24hour bus lines connecting Athens International Airport  with Athens, depart from the Arrivals Level (between Exits 4 and 5).

Bus X95 “Syntagma – Airport” brings you Syntagma square. From there you can use Metro Line 2 “Anthoupoli - Elliniko” in the direction of “Elliniko”. Get off at the first station (“Akropoli”). From there Royal Olympic Hotel is 200 meters away, walking along Ath. Diakou Street.

Airport bus tickets are available from the bus drivers, from the ticket kiosk at the bus departure area and from all the metro stations around Athens and cost 5 euros for a single ride from/to the airport.

By Taxi (option 3)

Taxis are available at the designated Taxi waiting area located at Exit 3 of Arrivals Level. The journey duration from the airport to Royal Olympic Hotel is about 45 minutes. Fares for taxis departing from the airport are as follows:

• Day time flat fare (05:00 - 24:00) - 35 € from the Airport to “Athens city centre inner ring” (and vice versa)
• Night time flat fare (00:00 - 05:00) - 50 € from the airport to “Athens city centre inner ring” (and vice versa)

The charge is determined by the time of arrival at the destination and includes all applicable surcharges and extras. In most taxis you can only pay in cash.
