Abraham Bernstein is a Full Professor of Informatics at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. His current research focuses on various aspects of the semantic web, knowledge discovery, and collective intelligence. His work is based on both social science (organizational psychology/sociology/economics) and technical (computer science, artificial intelligence) foundations. Mr. Bernstein is a Ph.D. from MIT and also holds a Diploma in Computer Science (comparable to a M.S.) from the Swiss Federal Institute in Zurich (ETH). He is on the editorial board of a number of journals, the president of the Swiss Informatics Research Association, a vice-president of the Semantic Web Science Association, and was general chair of ISWC in 2012 and program chair in 2009.

Online TV Statistics and Dynamic Joint Recommendations
ViSTA-TV enables online viewership statistics analytics for the IPTV industry. Based on its technological progress and research ViSTA-TV will bootstrap an real-time data and data analytics economy for the IPTV industry. At the European Data Forum (EDF) 2014 we will present the ViSTA-TV platform and our four prototype applications showing live IPTV analytics services, demonstrating our success in research and technological innovation. We conclude our presentation with our findings how ViSTA-TV will bootstrap a data and data analytics services economy for viewership data in the IPTV industry, in particular for cases which cannot be covered by traditional TV panel measurement.
