Jose Ignacio Sanchez Valdenebro: BS in Chemistry at Complutense University of Madrid. Master's degree in e-Health for de UOC (Universidad Oberta de Cataluna). He started is career working in software development companies and consulting companies in different fields like banking, GIS applications and e-health. Since 2004 he has been working at Red.es developing Information Society programs in Spain as e-government, e-justice, e-health. Since 2011 he is the responsible of Aporta Project at red.es. Currently, he is Deputy Director of Digital Public Services Department, where Aporta Project is managed.

Aporta Project: National Strategy for encourage PSI in Spain
Talk Abstract:
Aporta is the flagship initiative of the Spanish Government for promoting the Re-Use of Public Sector Information and fostering the opendata culture among the Public Administration and the Society. Since its official launch in April 2009, Aporta firstly disseminated the culture of the reuse of PSI, after created the guidelines needed for paving the way for the re-use, and now has it`s main focus helping to make a reality the right to re-use the PSI held by the National tier of Government. Aporta project enriches and maintains the Public Information Catalogue (datos.gob.es) performing actions such as open data support service, developing of training materials and promoting the creation of products and services by the infomediary sector.
